As black women, we have so much wisdom, knowledge, positivity, love, and comfort to offer one another. By attending group sessions, you will realize 1.) You are not alone and 2.) You are worthy of love and support. Group Therapy is a form of therapy in which a group of black women with common goals and interests meet to explore problems, describe their successes, and discuss otherwise pressing issues together under a therapist’s facilitation. The Group environment provides an environment where problems and concerns can be shared in an atmosphere of mutual respect and understanding. Group therapy seeks to enhance self-respect, deepen self-understanding, and improve interpersonal relationships.
Groups will consist of 10-16 individuals. There are 3 Types of Groups offered: Please review the tabs for additional information on specific groups.
